1. Relevancy

These terms and conditions apply to all contracts between e-Active B.V. and companies or individuals that have or want a basic, complete or top profile on one of the sites that belong to e-Active B.V. (hereinafter referred to as: customers) and to all companies and individuals that actively participate on the site by adding textual information, e.g. by asking a question or by sending in an article or job vacancy (hereinafter referred to as : active visitors).

Before the contract is concluded, the text of these general conditions will be made available to the customer. If this is not reasonably possible before the contract is concluded, it will be indicated where the terms and conditions can be seen digitally or otherwise will be sent to the customer free of charge.

Personal data will not be passed to third parties or other organisations without prior permission from the companies or individuals that have a free or paid business listing.

2. Basic profile

The contract for a basic profile and the relevant terms and conditions will be concluded the moment that the customer signs in on our website with his email address. No rights can be derived from a basic profile. e-Active B.V. has the right to refuse or delete a free profile without reason. It’s not allowed to mention a website in any way on a basic profile.

You can cancel your account by logging into your account and clicking on ''my account'' in the dashboard or by contacting us.

Link profile (basic profile with a link)
With a basic profile you can choose to show a link to your own website. This can be done by either choosing a link exchange or choosing a paid link for £6 a year. When choosing one of these options, the URL entered in the address details will be displayed as a button with the text 'website' next to the address details on your profile.

Link Exchange (free)
As soon as you choose this option, you will receive an e-mail from us. Here you will find an explanation about how you can place the link on your website. The link must be reachable within two mouse clicks from the homepage of your website. It is important that you keep this link on your website, as we will periodically check it. Please note: we cannot help you to place the link. If you cannot place the link yourself, we recommend that you choose the option below – the paid link-. It is important that your link redirects to your own company website. A social media link, such as link to a Facebook page will not work.

Paid Link (£6 annually)
When choosing a paid link, the link to your website will be shown on your profile immediately. After choosing the option for a paid link, you will receive an e-mail from us containing the invoice. Your link profile will be activated immediately and will continue for the agreed period of 12 months. You can cancel your link profile at any time. You can do this by going to the dashboard of your profile and choosing a basic profile without a link. Your profile will then automatically change back to a basic profile without a link after the agreed period of time has ended.

3. Complete and top profiles

E-Active has the right to change the prices of the complete and top profiles. The price that is applicable to you will expire the moment you change your complete or top profile back to a basic profile. If you decide to upgrade to a complete or top profile again in the future, you will pay the price that is applicable at that moment.
